Sentia Cookie Policy
Version of 10 September 2026
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. Among other things, it makes it possible to keep your basket, remember your preferences or measure the site's audience. This policy also covers equivalent technologies: pixels, tags, local storage and advertising identifiers.
2. Legal framework
The placing and reading of cookies are governed by Article XII.13 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law (Code de droit économique) (transposing Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC) and, for any resulting personal data, by the GDPR.
Your prior consent is required for any cookie that is not strictly necessary for the operation of the site or for the provision of a service you have expressly requested.
3. Categories used
| Category | Purpose | Consent | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Basket, session, security, payment, remembering your cookie choice | Not required | Session to 6 months |
| Audience measurement | Understanding site traffic and improving the site | Required | 13 months maximum |
| Advertising and social media | Measuring campaigns, showing relevant advertising (Meta, Google) | Required | 13 months maximum |
4. How you choose
On your first visit, a banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies, with both options presented at the same level and with the same formatting. Access to detailed preferences allows you to choose category by category.
Access to the site is never conditional on accepting non-essential cookies.
5. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your choice at any time and as easily as you gave it, via the "Cookie preferences" link permanently available in the footer. Your choice is kept for a maximum of six months; after that period, you will be asked again.
You can also configure your browser to block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the basket and payment from working.
6. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties (Shopify, Meta, Google, payment providers) under their own responsibility. Their respective policies apply to such processing. No advertising cookie is placed before you give your consent.
